Our BEAUFORT project in Ludwigshafen received the "Residential Buildings of the Year" award in the "Innovative Facade" category. Located directly on the Rhine and in the new "Heimatufer" neighbourhood, the recently completed residential project impressed the jury above all with its visually outstanding building envelope, which - "sculptural and majestic" - resembles a ship in the harbour. "Such a prime site location directly on the water, with a direct view of the glittering current of the river, naturally inspires one a great deal as an architect. The fact that our aspiration to transfer the aesthetics of the Rhine to such a modern residential project as the BEAUFORT is now being recognised in this way confirms us in our path as a driver of innovation.
