Eike Becker_Architekten has been awarded the detailed design contract for the Waldenburg project. In partnership with Krekeler Architekten Generalplaner, this marks the beginning of another important milestone on the path towards Waldenburg's new cultural centre.

The historic Marstall will be transformed into a vibrant public forum inclusive of an open destination for culture, food, art, hospitality, and community. The project will include exhibition spaces, an art storage facility, markets featuring regional produce, a hotel with spaces for conferences, education, and engagement.

The listed building ensemble will be carefully restored while being thoughtfully adapted for the future. The planning application is about to be submitted. The vision of a new public destination for Waldenburg is now becoming a built reality, step by step.
