At Management Circle’s 13th Berlin Real Estate Forum 2026, Eike Becker presented a spotlight session on the topic “At Home in the Unknown—Curiosity in an Increasingly Complex World.”

His presentation focused on how artificial intelligence can meaningfully support architecture and urban development: from material and lighting studies to floor plan options, BIM, construction site information, and complex challenges related to sustainability, density, mobility, and permitting processes.

AI does not replace an architectural approach. However, it can help to visualize alternatives more quickly, rethink processes, and ask better questions in an increasingly complex world.
