Europa-Allee: Building permit

The new building consists of two slender slices, which take up the height and shape of the opposite residential high-rise building Praedium above the seven-storey avenue building. Both buildings form the gateway to Europa-Allee. One half of the building faces eastwards through its overhang and the other half faces west towards the Europa Garden, linking the east and west. On Pariser Strasse is the main entrance, which was designed as a representative two-storey entrance with a staircase to the gallery on the first floor. On the ground floor is planned a reading café for visitors and restaurant for the employees. The H-shaped floor plan allows variable office types, which provide space for 65 to 100 employees per floor, depending on the variant. The publishing house is supplemented by an eight-storey U-shaped hotel complex belonging to the Leonardo Group. For work breaks, a 160-square-meter roof terrace and two smaller terraces on the 9th floor are available on the low bridge section between publishing and hotel construction.
