A new home for the F.A.Z.

In search of a new location for their headquarter, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung made a find in the Europaviertel in Frankfurt: in 2021 the newspaper with a global readership will move its office to the high-rise office building in Europaallee designed by Eike Becker_Architekten.

The 60 meter tall building has an H-shaped floorplan that pivots off axis at mid-height to give the building a striking form. The high-rise will offer room for up to 3,000 workplaces. The aim for completion is the end of 2020.

The Paulus Immobiliengruppe and their partner Patron Capital Partners commissioned Eike Becker_Architekten to realize the project. The office won the international competition which was tendered by PGE Grundstücksgesellschaft Europaviertel at the end of 2017.
