Together with the landscape architects „ST raum a“ Eike Becker_Architekten won the 1. prize in the competition for the northern entry of the quarter "Rheinufer Süd" in Ludwigshafen. The concept shows a solitaire property of 8 floors with 40 apartments in the upper floors and a restaurant in the ground floor as well as a single-storey underground parking. Eike Becker_Architekten have been commissioned with the further planning.

The draft marks the northern entry in the new quarter at the promenade "Rheinallee". The superferent building is beginning and connection, solitaire and part of an ensemble at the same time.

From the direction of the "Rheinallee" the building can be perceived as "a gesture of openness". The slightly slanting position of the eastern facade helps to create a connection to the institute "Ostasieninstitut" and helps to forward the pedestrians to the promenade "Rheinschanzenprommenade".
