We were awarded the contract for a residential quarter in Erlusgelände, Speyer. On the basis of our concept seven buildings will be erected that make up one ensemble. The entrances mark the different houses, with the facades blending into each other: Separating cuts are avoided, and the idea is to represent one building as a holistic composition. The different facade types – horizontal balustrade facade, vertical panels and frames – give the building complex so much diversity that the buildings invoke a similar differentiation as the one featured by the historic old town architecture. The future apartments with spacious patios and balconies offer a direct view of the river Rhine.
