After winning the competition Eike Becker_Architekten were commissioned with the planning of the project. In June 2015 the building request was submitted.

In the development area "Stuttgart 21" the two hotels "Hampton by Hilton" und "Holiday Inn Express" with a total of 301 romms are to be built on an area of 1.475 m2.

After intense negotiations the construction permit was given on January, 30th 2017. Completion of construction is due in fall 2019.
