Eike Becker Architekten is participating in the Vienna Timber Construction Conference organized by the Coalition for Timber Construction. The event combines policy initiatives, urban planning strategies, and site visits to current timber construction projects.

The event kicked off with a political discussion on Vienna’s housing policy, during which key framework conditions and strategic approaches for sustainable urban development were presented. This was followed by project tours and expert discussions with representatives from planning, development, research, and industry.

The trip highlights the potential of modern timber construction for climate-oriented urban development and provides valuable insights for the further development of timber construction initiatives in Germany.
