Competition winner: Office high-rise at Europa-Allee in Frankfurt

We won! In the competition with five other architectural offices Eike Becker_Architekten won in the final round against the office of Sauerbruch Hutton.

The Paulus Immobiliengruppe and their Partner Patron Capital Partners commissioned Eike Becker_Architekten with the realisation of a high rise project in the “Europaviertel” in Frankfurt am Main. The architects won the architectural competition organised by the city of Frankfurt.

The concept developed by Eike Becker_Architekten provides two buildings that differ significantly from each other. The 60m tall Office High-rise has an H-shaped floorplan that pivots off axis at mid-height to give the building a striking form. Adjacent to the Office building is a 7-storey, 3-4 star hotel.

The high-rise will offer room for up to 3,000 workplaces. The adjacent hotel disposes of 320-350 rooms that can be reached via a representative lobby in the first floor. A two-storey basement will provide 400 underground parking lots.

Construction is due to start in the 2nd half of 2018. The aim for completion is the end of 2020.

We are looking forward to starting the planning!
