To the west of the Kaiserlei motorway bridge in Offenbach, in the promising "Am Kaiserlei" quarter, a new project from our pen is taking shape - STR127. Named after its location, a new office building is being built on the site of Strahlenbergerstraße 127 in Offenbach. An 11-storey office tower is being built on 4,223 m² of land. A café, restaurant and fitness studio are planned for the ground floor. Thanks to the nearby "Kaiserlei" S-Bahn station and the adjacent A661 motorway, STR127 has excellent connections to Offenbach, Frankfurt city centre and the nearby Frankfurt airport.
The STR127 office tower consists of three stacked cubes and is architecturally reminiscent of the game "Jenga Tower". The five-storey base follows the site boundary, the two staggered storeys sitting on top of it jump back about 3 metres. The resulting loggia on the sixth floor opens up a weather-protected view of the surroundings and the Kaiserlei district. The "tower" (8th floor to 10th floor), which builds on the seventh floor, jumps back again in the north, east and west, while the tower in the south resumes the façade line from the "base". The staggered floors of the staggered storeys and the tower give the office building its second name, "Staples". The façade design, which resembles classic industrial buildings at the base with regular frames, is broken up by the glass façades of the staggered storeys and the tower and strengthens the architectural appearance of the office tower.
