More than 250 highly motivated architects will meet in Berlin-Babelsberg on September 6, 2014 to play the Berlin Architects Football Tournament. Since 1992 the first Saturday in September has always been the day for twelve teams of architects to kick the ball and find the winner of the "ABC – Architekten Berlin Cup“. The tradition is that they play on small lawn fields in teams with one goalkeeper and seven field players including at least one child or one woman.

The event moderator is the author and journalist Lucas Vogelsang. The matches begin at 9 a.m., and the two best teams will meet in the final match around 6 p.m.  Eike Becker_Architekten are the hosts of the tournament, catering support comes from Big Stuff Smoked BBQ, a nostalgic ice-cream van and a cocktail bar. Furthermore a raffle and Olympics for Children are planned. The band "leather report" will play from 7 p.m. onwards. The winning team may enjoy the triumph and will receive the cup, but it also has the responsibility of organizing next year's tournament.

The tournament will take place on Saturday, September 6, 2014 in the sports facilities of FSV Babelsberg 74, Rudolf-Breitscheid-Straße 173, 14482 Potsdam, near Griebnitzsee station.
