Eike Becker_Architekten submitted a design to the competition for the new hotel for the Vitasol thermal spa in Bad Salzuflen and was awarded 1st prize.

The hotel is planned as a modular timber construction. The 100 rooms stand on a folded roof with a healing garden. Two four- and five-storey room wings, offset from each other, contrast with the organic shape of the base with the folded, cantilevered roof. The geometry of the roof can also be associated with undulations or a hilly landscape. It gives the viewer the impression that the wings of the rooms are gliding along the edge of the spa gardens. 

Eike Becker_Architekten were commissioned with the planning.
