In co-operation with the CG Group, Jones Lang LaSalle and the Berlin regional group the Professional Group Residential Property of RICS Germany organized an expert event on "Residential tower blocks" in the former postal giro office on Hallesches Ufer in Berlin. Speaking to real estate experts Eike Becker delivered a presentation on the renaissance of inner cities, mobility of society and on miniaturization of technology. Existing tower blocks, most of which were originally used as offices, constitute an important piece of building substance in population centres. They increasingly focus on the residential sector. Eike Becker_Architekten are intensively involved with this topic, and currently the company is working on tower block areas in Berlin and Offenbach jointly with the CG Group.
